Tomb of Sheikh Muslihhidin in Khujand and a Poetic Inscription by Hafez Shirazi

The tomb of 12th century Sufi, Muslihhidin Nuri in Khujand, Tajikistan. Built in the 16th century, above the Iwan is a inscription with a famous poem by Hafez. The Inscription survived the Soviet period where it functioned as the “History Museum of Leninabad” (Leninabad was the Soviet era name of Khujand), but seems to have been removed upon “restorative works” when reconverted to a mosque in 2001.
