The glorious interior of Sheikh Lutfullah Mosque. Built in the early 17th century, by Shah Abbas I, as a prayer space royalty the mosque represents the pinnacle of the Persianate Islamic architectural style. The interior contains some of the most precise and well constructed mosaics every made. 400 years after it’s initial construction it continues to stand in beautiful pristine condition.
